Larry Shoesmith, CTR
Owner, President
Entering the construction industry over 30 years ago as a roofing contractor in Ontario, Larry transitioned from a roofing and sheet metal foreman to a Low Slope Roofing Manager. After 4 years, he was promoted to a Technical Manager for a national roofing product manufacturer and later joined Elevate, formerly Firestone Building Products, in their Canadian Technical Department. In 2002, Larry formed Pilot Group Inc.
Landon Shoesmith, CTR
Sales Representative
Landon joined Pilot Group Inc. in September 2020. He spent several years travelling and working around Canada before accepting a position in the family business. Landon has an aptitude for technical details and problem solving. He works closely with Larry to learn the business from the ground up, including spending time on job sites to learn the practical side of installations.
Emma Shaw
Marketing & Communications
Emma started working with Pilot Group Inc. in 2019 during a period of revitalizing our social media presence. Emma has a passion for communications and social marketing. With no education in a marketing background, Emma has gained her skills self-teaching while growing her own business that utilizes social marketing to retain clients.
Shelley Shoesmith
Owner, Chief Administrative Officer
Shelley has been involved in Pilot Group since its inception in 2002, working mainly after business hours. In 2013, Shelley decided to leave her law career and devote her time to Pilot Group by diving in and learning about the ICI market. She believes wholeheartedly that human resources are the foundation of any great company and enjoys the fact that Pilot Group is built on a very solid foundation.
Ria Charbonneau
Project Coordinator
Ria joined Pilot Group in 2014 as our project coordinator responsible for providing our contractor base with project information and liaising between our manufacturers and contractors for any upcoming or ongoing projects.
